The Department of Chemistry in the Faculty of Sciences seeks to fill this position by April 1, 2026.
The University of Konstanz is one of eleven Universities of Excellence in Germany. Since 2007 it has been successful in the German Excellence Initiative and its follow-up program, the Excellence Strategy.
The research focus of the professorship will be in an innovative area of Organic Chemistry/Chemical Biology, ideally complementing both current and future research activities at the Department of Chemistry. The position holder is expected to continue and expand the existing collaboration with the Department of Biology. We are seeking an individual who can represent the full range of Organic Chemistry across all degree programs of the Department of Chemistry. These include the Bachelor's and Master's programs in Chemistry, Life Sciences, and Nanoscience.
