Main tasks
  • Research in the field of biostatistical methods development
  • Writing of scientific publications in international journals
  • Presentation of research results at scientific conferences
  • Supporting in teaching activities at the Mathematical Institute
Your Profile
  • You must hold a master鈥檚 degree within mathematics, statistics or similar fields with a strong foundation in mathematics/statistics
  • You should have coding experience in R or Python and bring enthusiasm for interdisciplinary work at the intersection of statistics and medicine/biology
Our Offer
The position is to be occupied from 01.04.2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. The employment is initially limited to a period of 3 years with the option for prolongation.
It is a qualification position in the sense of the Act of Academic Fixed-Term Contract (Wissenschaftsvertragsgesetz -WissZeitVG), which is to promote the scientific qualification of the employee. You are expected to pursue a PhD and will be supported in this aim.
