Possible research topics include climate-oriented and inclusive design, everyday and gender-appropriate design, innovative design, drafting and designing in complex, adaptive systems, developing dynamic landscapes, as well as the international comparison of new methods in practice and research. The professorship teaches in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the Faculty of Landscape Architecture. The aim is to promote an inter- and transdisciplinary understanding of design that optimally prepares students for their future careers and potential eligibility for professional registration.
