Tenure-Track Professor for Sustainable Inorganic Chemistry

The position is due to commence on 01.10.2025.
We are looking for a person whose research concept contributes to the field of current preparative inorganic molecular chemistry. Independent research activities are expected in this context with reference to relevant aspects.
The professorship should support ongoing and planned collaborative research projects in the Department of Chemistry and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and ideally also offer links to existing structures and research networks.
The successful candidate is expected to independently teach the full spectrum of the subject Inorganic Chemistry. The position has a teaching load of four hours per week prior to interim evaluation, and six hours thereafter. Contributions to innovative teaching concepts are welcome.
Required qualifications include an outstanding doctoral thesis in a pertinent field, internationally recognized publications and experience in acquiring third-party funding and in teaching.
Applicants for a tenure-track professorship with a PhD from °Õü²ú¾±²Ô²µ±ð²Ô must have changed universities after completing their doctorates or have worked in academia for at least two years somewhere other than the University of °Õü²ú¾±²Ô²µ±ð²Ô.
If the final evaluation after six years is positive, this professorship will be upgraded to a full (W3) professorship with no re-advertising of the position.
