Responsibilities:

• The successful applicant will cover research, teaching, and service in the clinical discipline of equine surgery.
• They will also lead the Division of Orthopaedics and Surgery within the Equine Clinic at Freie Universität Berlin’s Animal Clinic

Appointment requirements:

• Governed by Section 100 of the Berlin Higher Education Act (Berliner Hochschulgesetz – BerIHG)
• Approbation/license to practice veterinary medicine
• Diplomate of the European or American College of Veterinary Surgeons
• Additional academic qualifications and achievements (as defined under Section 100.2 of the Berlin Higher Education Act) in the field of equine surgery
